All the basics are provided to enable you to self-cater and have a comfortable base from which to explore the North Wales region. Visitors have left unsolicited feedback on Ebay to say the cottage is "cosy",  "a good place to chill out", "a great hideaway" and a "fantastic location".

There is one large bedroom with two bunk beds that can sleep four adults and will easily accommodate a cot if you need to bring one.

The bathroom has an electric shower, electrical shaver point, wash basin,toilet and heated towel rail. A bath for a baby is provided.

The kitchen includes the basics,such as ‘Baby Belling’ cooker, microwave, table-top fridge, toaster, hot-water heater etc.

The sitting room has a stereo system to play your own tape-cassettes and CD’s or listen to the radio (no TV). The wood burning stove can generate enough heat to warm the whole cottage; excellent for baking potatoes, heating a kettle etc.. Wood for burning is included. All rooms have electric heaters.

A feature of the garden is the walk-through Rhododendron tree which attracts many varities of small birds and where the wood store is located. A gate at the bottom of the garden gives you access to the path and the hillock from where you get a wonderfull all-round panoramic view overlooking the resevoir and the Ffestiniog (narrow gauge) Railway.

There are two parking areas; one off-road at the end of the terrace and another on the Cwmorthin Road opposite the path leading to the terrace.
